Hakone Ginyu – Elegant Relaxation In A Luxury Ryokan

Location:

Hakone Japan East Asia
SpaTraditional

This compact luxury inn or “ryokan” is situated in a perfect location with mountains falling like curtains behind small valleys and rivers. The inn has balconies where you can relax and take in the amazing Japanese countryside. There is a nearby train station, so you will easily be able to explore the local area.

Carefully prepared Japanese cuisine is delivered to your room decorated in the minimal Zen style with tatami mats, sliding screen doors, low table and chairs, and futons you can roll out at night and go to sleep on. You will have your own hot spring flowing with mystical waters that have been used for healing for centuries. You also have an open-air bath in your private area, and there are also communal baths for a more authentic (and nude) experience. While relaxing in the soothing waters, you are served an array of medicinal and delicious teas or wine if you prefer. Japanese sweets and chocolate are also compulsory for guests.
