If you could time-travel, would you? If the answer is yes, you can get a taste of the past at Hotel Nordoy. Built in 1925, in heart of the historic Tel Aviv neighborhood of Nachlat Binyamin, Hotel Nordoy is the oldest continuously operating hotel in the city. Not just that – it’s been run by the same family the entire time, adding to its authentic charm.
The hotel retains many of the original features (including the exact same shade of pink on the façade as 100 years ago!) but has been updated to modern standards. Don’t worry, though, the renovations didn’t hurt its old-timey charm. Decorated mainly in beige, brown and gold, all rooms and suites have a decadent feel. But you’ll find that contemporary art and design elements liven up the space and give it a fresh feel.
And finally for the highlight of the hotel: the rooftop. Overlooking the vibrant Nachlat Binyamin, there’s a slice of green paradise. Catch some tan on the sunbeds, escape to the shade or take a dip in the rooftop jacuzzi. The iconic Nordoy dome on the roof is where the spa treatments take place so definitely consider booking one.
