Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is located in the unspoiled wilderness of Purros Conservancy in Namibia. Ostriches and other birds can often be spotted right from your chalet. Still, the real adventure begins on a photo safari where you will come across desert elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, black rhinos, and many more species. Okahirongo also organizes visits to a nearby village where you can learn about the culture of the Himba, the desert-dwelling people of this region.
