One&Only One Za'abeel - Sky-High Luxury: The Architectural Marvel of Dubai

The One&Only One Za'abeel Hotel in Dubai is a marvel of modern architecture designed by renowned Japanese architect firm Nikken Sekkei, responsible for the structural engineering of the Tokyo Tower built in 1958.

The hotel is part of the One Za'abeel development, which features two asymmetrical towers connected by a spectacular cantilevered structure known as The Link.

This engineering feat is the world's longest cantilever, spanning 100 meters (328 feet) above the city and housing an array of high-end dining options, including restaurants helmed by Michelin-starred chefs. The Link is also home to the UAE's longest infinity pool.

The Link

The Link's rooftop has an infinity pool and a lively restaurant (Tapasake), where a DJ creates a vibrant atmosphere. For a more intimate experience, the Sphere cocktail bar offers stunning views of the city lights.

Nikken Sekkei was responsible for the iconic design of the two towers connected by The Link, the world's longest cantilevered sky bridge.

The hotel's interiors were crafted by Belgian architect and designer Jean-Michel Gathy, known for his work on other iconic One&Only properties.

Gathy drew inspiration from Dubai's desert landscape, incorporating a delicate neutral color palette with subtle sand motifs throughout the rooms and suites.

Villa One

The design blends traditional Emirati elements with modern aesthetics. The hotel's 178 luxury guest rooms and 51 suites feature sculptural lighting, artwork, high-class fittings, and expansive cityscape views.

The hotel's most expensive suite is Villa One, which is 755 square meters (8,127 square feet) and has two bedrooms, a reception lounge, an outdoor infinity pool, a private cinema, and a gym.

Tapasake serves a fascinating fusion called Nikkei cuisine, the happy marriage of Japanese and Peruvian gastronomy. They use imported premium Japanese goods and fresh Peruvian chilis. The pool in the sky is reserved for people over 21, so no children will spoil your sunset experience.
