The maharaja’s palace that is now the Samode Palace hotel is the perfect blend of antiquity and modernity. Over 300 years ago, the palace was home to the ruling family of Samode, in the heart of Rajasthan, just outside Jaipur. Its luxury has transcended time with mirror tiled halls, mural lined walls, and marble swimming pools. The 23 suites and 20 rooms are all filled with regal antiques and breathtaking hand-painted walls, chandeliers, and décor.

The hotel’s marble swimming pool in the courtyard offers a children’s play area and a Jacuzzi. If you are looking for something with a better view, head up to the mosaic rooftop infinity pool and Jacuzzi pavilion are perfect for taking in the Aravalli mountains while lounging in the sun.

You can enjoy Rajasthani, Asian and European dishes prepared by the renowned chef Raheev Sharma and served in the grand dining room. The dining room is bedecked with chandeliers, handcrafted silverware, and jewel-toned walls. For a unique drinking experience head to the hotel’s bar where you can choose your poison from one of the best cellars in all of Jaipur.
