Six Senses Zighy Bay – Everything You Could Ever Want In Paradise

Location:

Zighy Bay Oman Middle East
BeachLuxury

Six Senses have a commitment to the SLOW LIFE (sustainable, local, organic, wellness – learning, inspiring, fun, experiences). This resort is designed around a traditional village structure. So you can walk from your luxury villa to a central plaza, perhaps to meet friends, maybe to eat and drink among the aromas of the spice market.

More than a spa, there are treatment programs for detox, relaxation, and fitness. There is even a Jungle Gym; no, not a place full of over-stimulated children and ball-pools but an actual gym in an actual jungle.

As for activities, water sports are big here and you can go paragliding and sailing. You can mountain bike one day and relax on the sun deck of the hotel’s yacht the next. There are tennis courts, yoga sessions, and off-road desert driving. The restaurant has visits from celebrity chefs bringing their own flair to the menu on different days. There is also live music and dancing on the tables (probably) at night.

Palacio del Inka, Cusco - Inside a 500-Year-Old Mansion: Stone, Gold, and a Baby Alpaca Named Inti

Most hotels describe themselves as historic. Palacio del Inka was a palace, then a Spanish colonial mansion, then a museum, and is now asking if you'd like a pisco sour. The stones - massive, fitted without mortar with an Incan precision that has outlasted earthquakes - belonged to Qorikancha, the …
