Baumhaushotel Solling - Dreamy Treehouses In An Experimental Forest

Location:

Schönhagen Germany West Europe
NatureTreehouse

The Baumhaus Hotel has seven separate treehouses for you to choose from. They are all made from untreated local wood, stand 5-7 meters high, and each one has a dreamy balcony.

The houses are insulated and heated so you can be toasty warm while winter rages outside. Showers are near the treehouse by the firepit, where you can drink cocoa in the evenings.

The treehouses are located in the experimental forest of Schönhagen – a popular tourist destination with plenty to see and do. ‘The Castle’ is one of the treehouses on offer, and it is built like a medieval castle.

But rather than being a tool to oppress the masses, this Castle is more like an opportunity to crush boring holidays! There is a high battlement from where you can see stunning views of the surrounding area.

The ‘Tree Dream’ is another treehouse and features little rooms suspended by carbon fiber, while the large ‘Roundhouse’ is a delicious wooden donut… with a family filling...? I don’t know; get your own metaphor.
