The G Hotel – Arty and hip to the touch

The G Hotel

No, the G here doesn’t stand for ‘Gangsta’ although they may serve Crystal Champagne. Interiors by Philip Treacy OBE (he was the guy who designed the Internet’s favorite hat – the one worn by Princess Beatrice’s at the royal wedding). This top designer used an eclectic style palate drawing from Art Deco, Baroque and Modern styles to create Island’s top 5-star hotel. The spa is custom designed by ESPA who have 30 years experience in providing a peaceful counterbalance to accelerated culture. Their holistic ‘Twice as Nice’ treatment won Tatler’s ‘Best Body Treatment’ award and uses a combination of scrubs, hot stones and detoxing drinks to sort you out. The dining is 5-star and thoughtful packages are available to choose from: the ‘Dinner and Movie’ and the ‘Dinner and Opera’ packages supply you with everything you need for a special night out. There is a collection of contemporary art, photography and design hand picked by and on display. And through the windows, God’s own art is on display as swirling cloud forms highlight green Galway Bay.
