Leobo is an award-winning private property that has just recently opened up for travelers. It is owned by an English family; hence it's a one-time opportunity to enjoy their exceptional creation as an exclusive rental. Leobo Private Reserve is set in the Waterberg Game Park, surrounded by a 12000-acre private estate.

The Observatory villa is the highlight of the estate. It has been crafted from stone and glass and can host a maximum of 9 people. The unique interior design uses locally sourced materials. The heated infinity pool or the rooftop jacuzzi with breathtaking views might sound too good to be true on a remote African estate; however, there is something even more remarkable.

The Waterberg Observatory is an integral part of the main house. Inside you will find two different telescopes. One is for discovering stars and planets, and the other is to look directly at the sun. As there is no light pollution at this remote game reserve, the sky opens up on each clear night with views that will make the mind boggle!

A renowned gourmet chef prepares the food, and there is an attending butler as well. Quad bikes, racing bikes, electric golf buggy are all available for some fun, and if that was not enough, you could get your own helicopter to fly over the wilderness. Starlight safari is run by a local astronomer, Dr. Phil Calcot, and of course, you can go for a safari whenever you like.

Palacio del Inka, Cusco - Inside a 500-Year-Old Mansion: Stone, Gold, and a Baby Alpaca Named Inti

Most hotels describe themselves as historic. Palacio del Inka was a palace, then a Spanish colonial mansion, then a museum, and is now asking if you'd like a pisco sour. The stones - massive, fitted without mortar with an Incan precision that has outlasted earthquakes - belonged to Qorikancha, the …
