Mama Thresl - Urban Soul In The High Mountains

Location:

Leogang Austria West Europe
MountainNatureSpa

Soak yourself in the unparalleled beauty of the Skicircus Saalbach - Leogang - Fieberbrunn in the town of Leogang. This is where mama thresl, the hotel that invites sporty urban souls, is located. The chic building is designed and constructed from locally available natural materials. Native pine wood with a calming scent for a night of good sleep is used throughout the interiors, as well as rocks to create natural stone basins and shower walls to remind you about your rock-climbing sessions.

mama thresl is all about the active holiday. Fun and exciting winter or summer sports during the day, and rejuvenating relaxation for the evenings. For those that prefer wilder nights, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, live Djs rock the floor until 00:30.

The numerous adrenaline-pumping activities include their very own fixed rope climbing route, rafting, geocaching, archery, or taking e-bikes on the mountain slopes during the summer. You can even climb the hotel's facade itself. If you are into yoga, we have good news for you. The platforms at Priesteregg have an unbeatable setting with breathtaking mountain views for Yin Yoga and Athletic Yoga sessions. Ski and snowboard lovers are spoiled by 270 km of slopes and 70 modern cable cars and lifts during the winter season. You have the option to buy the ski pass and rent the equipment right from the hotel.

The 50 rooms all come with the warming feeling of the surrounding pine wood floors and walls; some of them have free-standing bathtubs with a view of the Leoganger Steinberge. The ones closer to the rooftop have an exclusive sky terrace with a private hot tub, partly with a private sauna, and all with a magical view of the Asitz Mountain. Of course, they all come with the usual high-speed Internet and flat TVs, but that's not why you are here for.

The Finnish sauna located on the top in the wellbeing area has beautifully curved wooden walls and an awe-inspiring view of the Leogang Mountains. Hence where the "panoramic heat" nickname comes from. How about some fresh mineral mountain water in the organically shaped resting bunks after a sweaty session? There is also an empty room, which is all about silence and mountain views. Head over to the rooftop terrace to get some cool drinks from the island bar.

After a long active day out hiking and climbing in the mountains, Thresl's Kitchen has a delightful choice of foods on offer. Try the traditional meals, homemade Tarte flambee, crisp salads, fine steaks, and delicious burgers to ease your hunger.
