Manor Farm Alton - The Fun Of Farm Life!

Location:

Alton United Kingdom West Europe
AnimalNature

This idyllic working farm is host to a unique camping experience courtesy of Feather Down Farm. Stay in a luxurious tent that can accommodate up to 6 people. A rural retreat without skimping on the luxury elements, your tent is made of canvass and cosily lit at night by the hanging lamps. In the morning you awake to the sounds of nature in your warm double bed and head into the spacious living area where breakfast is laid out, fresh from the farm.

Roll back the canvass and let the countryside deliver you a sense of pastoral calm as opposed to bills and John Humphreys shouting at politicians. During the day you can explore the farm and local landscape on foot or by bike and coming home at night you will find the distractions of the modern world far away as you curl up in front of the wood burner to watch the wood glow slowly.

Valley Views Glamping - Sleeping Under Stars in New Zealand's Hidden Wilderness

The first thing you notice isn't the geodesic domes dotting the hillside like something from a sci-fi film, or even the sweeping views across the Waitaki Valley that stretch endlessly toward jagged mountain peaks. It's the silence. The kind of profound quiet that makes city dwellers suddenly aware of their …
