Rayavadee Resort Krabi - Beachfront Getaway Along Krabi's Andaman Coast

Location:

Krabi Thailand Southeast Asia
BeachJungleLuxuryNature

Arrive by speedboat to this resort that is surrounded by sandy beaches and verdant jungle. The Rayavadee Resort is in Thailand, and specifically, in the middle of the Phranang Peninsular near Krabi Marine National Park. This allows for tropical garden scenery, as well as jungles, cliffs, and the Andaman Sea.

The backdrop would be lush enough, but the hotel fills each room with five-star rated accommodation, including spas, restaurants, and excellent room service. This top-notch resort has attracted celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, and Colin Farrell. Rayavadee Krabi translates as “Land of the Princess” and takes inspiration from a nearby cave called Tham Phra Nang which means the “Princess Cave”.

The architecture has been acclaimed and has won awards for its striking recreation of an idyllic south Thai village. There are 98 two-story pavilions to book and four luxury villas. You can stay in a round pavilion with luxurious bedrooms upstairs and a living space downstairs which lends the resort a communal feel. The spa treatments are second to none, offering each guest facials, scrubs, massages, and other contemporary treatments. There are four restaurants including, “the Grotto” which is built into another limestone cave which is perfect for watching the sunset while listening to the murmur of waves on rock. The dining service has an informal atmosphere but elegant settings nonetheless with coral reef-inspired décor.

The natural paradise may well be the best attraction with 26 acres of garden, jungle, and beach land to keep you relaxed. There is plenty to occupy you including jungle treks to the mountain monastery, elephant rides, and the resort edges a marine wildlife park.
