Cedar Creek Treehouse - Off-The-Grid Adventure In A TreehouseCedar Creek
Treehouse

There are a lot of treehouse hotels in the world. Some of them are just little houses on stilts while others are a mere 2 meters from the ground. But not this one, oh boy, this is the treehouse five-year-old children dream of. And you get to stay in it. You lucky thing.

It is a cool 50 feet from the ground with two floors. The trunk of the 200-year-old cedar tree rises through the middle of the house to create a secure structure. The top floor has comfortable beds, seating areas, and large skylights where, at night, you can almost hear the stars breathing. During the day you have a balcony where you can enjoy the pine-scented air and miles and miles of mountain views. The house is powered by solar energy with a small gas cooker but you don’t have to worry about breakfast as that is delivered to your door.

Forest activities all round then? Go hiking, fishing, or pick wild mushrooms and berries, and don’t forget to visit Mount Rainier National Park which is nearby.
